The shape of this ancient vessel, has evolved to serve a dual function; it must be asthetically pleasing thus adding to the ritual of sharing fine wine, It’s shape should also be such that it enhances and concentrates the flavors and aromas of the bouquet. Farrell Glass Design offers a range of highly ornate goblet designs handcrafted by Matthew Farrell with these factors in mind. “I design goblets that largely adhere to traditional form although I choose the surface decorations to reflect the variety of moods in which we, as a culture, partake of this timeless ritual. Some goblets I make to be elegant and formal and some are just a bit of fun”
